Kevin Reviews Jockstraps

Kevin loves to wear jockstraps, and he likes to work out, always to be found in the gym. So we asked him to road-test seven jockstraps for us, and put them through their paces, to give us an honest review of each. And Kevin being Kevin, also got photographer Tom Dingley involved, so that we could all see what he was talking about. Thanks Kevin!

Barcode:

I love this jock. I love the old-school sports functional style of a jockstrap. I like the clean lines of the white and the material up front is the perfect little pouch. I love how It's got room for everything, no feeling squashed in, but it holds everything nicely in place for cardio.

Charlie by Matthew Zink:

Charlie brand know how to get their shapes right and the dimensions of the waistband and pouch. You can tell straight away that it’s a premium jockstrap. The fabric feels amazing, and the branding looks great here. The bright orange is a real scene stealer! Not for being ignored - I like that!

On Tracks:

This felt great. The pouch was extremely soft and thin. It’s great to train in, super comfy. I love what OnTracks are doing with their collections, everything is really cool, a great sporty aesthetic, and this jockstrap is no different.

Marcuse:

This one has a cheeky little peek-a-boo, but the design also helps giving you more room. Generally I never love it when the bands are thin like this, I tend to prefer a wide waistband, so I wouldn’t normally go for one like this, but I know others prefer this style.

TeamM8:

Old school jock, in navy blue with mesh knitted pouch. These are my vibe. Fit is really good. Feels like a great vintage find - but its new!

ES Collection:

This is one of my favourites. It was a bit tight because I think it was a small, but in spite of that it did feel good. But basically held everything nicely and is a really lovely material, one of my favourites, this one - I wish it was my size!

N2N Bodywear:

So this one was interesting because I don't normally go for something like this, but the material felt really great, kind of slinky! It felt like a cross between a jock and swimwear lycra. Not all the support in the world, but feels really nice on - for something different, I was vibing!
