Nasty Pig, the pioneering queer fashion brand today launches its Spring/Summer 2025 collection with the sizzling Gone Fishing campaign—an unapologetically sexy, swamp-drenched editorial shot deep in the Florida Everglades. Featuring rugged, hunky beefcake models decked out in skin-baring, adventure-ready gear, the campaign brings a steamy, untamed energy to the brand’s signature fusion of fashion, fetish, and fun. “We just celebrated 30 years of Nasty Pig, and instead of treating 2025 as year 31, we’re kicking off the next era with something fresh, raw, and unexpected,” says Founder and CEO David Lauterstein. “Taking our team out of the city and into the swamps was the perfect way to shake things up. Our fans love when we push the limits, and Gone Fishing delivers on every level—sexy, wild, and full of attitude.”
The collection itself channels the thrill of outdoor exploration with topographic prints, map-inspired patterns, and rugged yet revealing silhouettes that blend function with fetish. “We wanted to capture the energy of adventure while keeping it undeniably sexy,” says Nasty Pig Designer Mihkel Vanager. “By mixing wovens and knits and playing with bold new cuts, we created looks that are built for movement, layering, and turning heads.”
This weekend we got to meet the brands Art Director in New York, and he told us, “I love recontextualizing cultural tropes through a queer lens for Nasty Pig campaigns—especially those tied to Americana and a kind of conventional Masculinity. Gone Fishing is a familiar phrase that evokes playful escapism, which I wanted to capture with Nasty Pig’s signature mischievous spirit. Models wade through the Everglades swamps in green jockstraps, lounge on docks in topographic-patterned bikinis, and cruise shirtless on airboats in search of alligators. We didn’t do much actual fishing, but I promise you won’t mind.”
Beyond its striking visuals, Gone Fishing reflects Nasty Pig’s ongoing commitment to celebrating queer culture, community, and unapologetic self-expression.
